PM Modi Slams Kerala Govt, LDF-UDF, Congress During Palakkad Rally

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Prime Minister Narendra Modi came heavily upon the CPI-M-led Kerala government, LDF-UDF, and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi during a rally in Palakkad, Kerala on April 15, Monday.

PM Modi accused the Kerala government of hindering the pace of the Jal Jeevan Mission in Kerala as they are engaged in corruption. He stated that this led to a crisis of drinking water in Kerala households. 

PM Modi alleged that the LDF-UDF is worsening the condition of Kerala. He also accused the state government of hindering the central government's efforts of development in Kerala. He claimed that they wanted to stop the projects of National Highways. 

Narendra Modi further took a jibe at the Wayanad Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and argued that he made his new base in Kerala after facing defeat in Congress' former bastion, Amethi. He further claimed that Congress came into a backdoor agreement with the political wing of an organization banned for its anti-national tendencies. 

The Congress and BJP faced a political showdown as the star campaigners of the respective political parties, Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi are holding election campaigns in Kerala. Earlier today, Rahul Gandhi Held a roadshow in his constituency Wayanad. PM Modi will also address a rally in Thiruvananthapuram.
