BY A STAFF REPORTER: While addressing a rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi came heavily on the Congress party for alleged corruption and Ram mandir invitation controversy on April 8, Monday in Bastar, Chhattisgarh.

PM Modi took a jibe at Congress as top party leaders declined Ram Mandir Pran-Pratishtha's invitation in January. He stated "The royal family of Congress rejected the invitation of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Mandir. Congress leaders who called this step wrong were expelled from the party. this shows that Congress can cross any limit for appeasement."

PM Modi reiterated that the Congress manifesto is an imprint of the Muslim League's manifesto which aims to split India based on caste and reservations. PM Modi also asserted he cancelled the 'loot license' of Congress after coming into power in 2014 as the Congress allegedly believed it had the authority to loot the people of India following independence. "Now their shop has been closed, will they abuse Modi or not? So who will protect me? These crores of my countrymen, my mothers and sisters, have become my raksha kavach today." He added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday addressed a rally in Bastar, Chhattisgarh ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections. The Lok Sabha Elections are set to commence on April 19.
