BREAKING: Commission announces panchayat election date

By a staff reporter: Date of panchayat polls is finally announced. Panchayat polls are going to be held on July 8, announced by state election commissioner Rajeev Sinha. There will be a single phase fight for the three-tier vote of rural Bengal throughout the state. Submission of nomination papers of various parties will start from tomorrow. Last date for submission is June 15. June 20 is the last day for withdrawal of nominations.
