Operation Prayogsala 1: NCB Busts 3 Mephedrone manufacturing labs

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, the Narcotics Control Bureau in a joint operation with the Gujarat Police busted three (clandestine drug) Mephedrone manufacturing labs in Gujarat and Rajasthan under Operation Prayogsala 1 on April 27, Saturday.

Seven people have been arrested in the operation and the kingpin has been identified as well. Three state-of-art laboratories were busted in the operation. Moreover, drugs worth Rs. 300 crore were seized. 

A total of 149 kg of mephedrone (in powder and liquid form), 50kg Ephedrine, and 200 liters of Acetone were seized in an overnight multistate operation. The raids are still underway.
