Odisha Police Ready for New Criminal Laws: DGP

In a significant development, Odisha DGP Arun Kumar Sarangi confirmed the preparedness of the state police to implement new criminal laws. Speaking in Bhubaneswar, he stated, "Odisha police is prepared to implement the three criminal laws... All investigating officers have been trained in the three criminal laws." He emphasized the collaboration with the National Law University for training senior officers in future.

"The training material has been prepared and circulated to all police posts," Sarangi added, underscoring the comprehensive readiness of Odisha police for the enforcement of these legislative updates.
