BJP MP Dilip Ghosh speaks to reporters in Midnapore on Wednesday. In the run-up to the panchayat polls, Dilip Ghosh has once again targeted the ruling Trinamool Congress in the state. He says, "The kind of violence and corruption that the TMC has brought to West Bengal has upset the people of Bengal. This government is not able to conduct a general panchayat election smoothly. Nine people have already died. 10 to 15 candidates were forced to withdraw their nominations. They are being threatened like this time and again, but despite that, we have fielded about 52,000, 54,000 candidates and will fight the whole battle. If necessary, the opposition will come together and defeat the TMC. ‘
