Meanwhile, BJP's nominated candidate Tapasi Roy has gone a long way ahead of the TMC candidate. At the end of the first round, She received 8892 votes. The TMC candidate received 7,328 votes. Meanwhile the CPIM candidate has get 1,310 votes.
