State election commission is incompetent: Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury

BY A STAFF REPORTER: State Congress president Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury spoken about the announcement of the dates for the Panchayat Vote. In a press conference, Adhir says, "The state election commission is incompetent. The commissioner is following the state government's fingertips. Panchayat polls have been announced without giving time to the opposition. Why can't you file your nomination until late at night? Trying to beat the opposition in the first round. The Trinamool Congress created a crisis by reducing the nomination time. It will take time for the opposition to file nominations. The voting will be conducted from Khokababu’s office. The manner in which the panchayat polls were announced made it very clear the ulterior motives of this government.”  The panchayat elections in the state of West Bengal are round the corner. Meanwhile, the opposition has expressed concern that 2018 could be repeated this time too. The state Congress and BJP has moved the court demanding that the central forces be given the responsibility of security for the polls.
