Nisith Pramanik Files Nomination From Coochbehar Constituency

After filing the nomination for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Nisith Pramanik asserted that the people of Coochbehar will bless him in the upcoming elections like before.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Days after the Coochbehar clash, Union Minister Nisith Pramanik filed his nomination from the Coochbehar Lok Sabha Constituency in West Bengal on March 21, Thursday.

After filing the nomination for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Nisith Pramanik asserted that the people of Coochbehar will bless him in the upcoming elections like before. He further assured that he will try to reach as many people as he can to seek their blessings. 

Furthermore, Coochbehar witnessed significant violence as several supporters of the BJP clashed with the supporters of the Trinamool Congress in Dinhata, Coochbehar on Tuesday evening. The incident injured numerous people including police personnel. Furthermore, the clash broke out hours after MoS Nisith Pramanik addressed a public rally in the area and state minister Udayan Guha was set to head a rally nearby the area. Subsequently, TMC leaders and BJP leaders accused each other of launching the attack which led to the incident.
