Muzaffarpur MP Ajay Nishad Joins Congress After Quitting BJP

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Shortly after resigning from BJP's posts, Bihar MP Ajay Nishad joined the Indian National Congress in Delhi on April 2, Tuesday. 

Moreover, he joined the Congress in the presence of Congress leader Pawan Khera. He further announced this development on his X handle.

Earlier today, he notified BJP National President  JP Nadda that he is resigning from the party's primary membership and all posts. Nishad further expressed that he is stunned by the BJP's alleged betrayal. Moreover, he will likely join the Congress today. 

The incumbent Muzaffarpur BJP MP Ajay Nishad was not nominated by the BJP for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. However, Ajay Nishad defeated Raj Bhushan by a significant margin in the 2019 general elections.
