Muzaffarnagar Roof Collapse: NDRF Team Arrives For Rescue Operation

As per the the District Magistrate Aravind Mallappa Bangari, one person lost his life while around 23 people are feared to be trapped under the debris. Moreover, 15 people have been rescued so far.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Shortly after the tragedy, an NDRF team arrived to rescue trapped individuals under the debris of a collapsed roof in Muzzafarnagar, Uttar Pradesh on April 14, Sunday.

As per the the District Magistrate Aravind Mallappa Bangari, one person lost his life while around 23 people are feared to be trapped under the debris. Moreover, 15 people have been rescued so far.  Further, the entire administration is present on the spot to assess the situation. The rescued individuals are receiving medical treatment.

In a major tragedy, the roof of a two-storey house collapsed on Sunday evening in Muzzafarnagar's Jansath Police Station area. Further investigations and rescue operations are underway.
