BY A STAFF REPORTER: The low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal has now turned into a distinct depression. It will turn into a cyclone on December 3, Alipur Meteorological Department said.

Meteorologists said that a low pressure is located over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas. It will develop into a deep depression moving west-northwestwards. After becoming a deep depression, its position will be northwest. It will become Cyclone 'Migjaum' on December 3. In the morning of December 4, it will reach near the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts. However, the direct impact of the cyclone will not be much in Bengal. No rain is likely anywhere in Bengal on 3rd and 4th. North Bengal and South Bengal will have dry weather. Some places may have partly cloudy skies.
