Manipur: Gunshots Fired At Crowd In Imphal East District, One Injured

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a tragic incident, unknown miscreants in a four-wheeler vehicle fired gunshots at a crowd near Moirang Kampu Primary School, injuring one individual in Imphal East District, Manipur on April 19, Friday.

The incident took place around 2:00 PM when the perpetrators arrived in a white-colored Toyota Fortuner vehicle and opened fire at the crowd, injuring one person namely Koisnam Sanayaima Moirang Kampu. The injured was later admitted to the Raj Medicity Hospital and is currently being treated.

The Lamlai police arrested the perpetrators shortly after the incident. Further investigations are underway.
