Manas stripped off environment, CM takes over

By A Staff Reporter: Turn coat politician and Congress turned TMC leader Manas Bhuyian has been divested of the Environment Department. Sources indicated that several complaints against the department were reported to the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over a period of time. According to state government communique, Chief Minister will be looking after the environment ministry directly. Manas Bhuyian will handle the Water investigation department as a Cabinet Minister. Bhuyian’s adversaries in the party claimed that it is a fall from grace for the doctor from West Midnapur. Chief minister Mamata Banerjee has set a zero tolerance on complaints and functioning of the departments and party sources claimed that Bhuyian fell short of her expectations.
