Howrah-Puri Vande Bharat : Know the details before the inauguration

By A Staff Reporter : Only one night left for the inauguration of the Howrah-Puri Bande Bharat Express.The auspicious start of the journey will be from Puri railway station tomorrow.Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will show the green signal.Before that, Kharagpur Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Rajesh Kumar informed about the train fare and all the details.He said that the commercial service of Howrah-Puri Bande Bharat Express will start from May 20.The train has a total of 16 coaches.Among them, 14 are chair cars. There are 2 executive chair car coaches.360 degree rotatable seats with auto sliding doors, bio toilet, anti-collision protection, CCTV camera system for comfortable and safe journey.Passengers will not feel any vibration or noise.

The end to end fare from HWH to PURI  in Economy Chair Car will cost around Rs. 1245/- (Including catering charges) & Rs. 1125/- (Excluding Catering charges). The end to end fare from HWH to PURI in Executive class would cost around Rs. 2400/-(Including catering charges) & Rs. 2245/- (Excluding Catering charges).

In return direction, the end to end fare from PURI to HWH in Economy Chair Car will cost around Rs. 1410/- (Including catering charges) & Rs. 1125/- (Excluding Catering charges). The end to end fare from PURI to HWH in Executive class would cost around Rs. 2595/-(Including catering charges) & Rs. 2245/- (Excluding Catering charges).The train will run on all days except Thursday and will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar & Khurda Road enroute Puri.
