Kiren Rijiju, Nisith Pramanik, LoP Adhikari Hold Roadshow In Siliguri

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in Darjeeling, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister Nisith Pramanik, and West Bengal LoP Suvendu Adhikari held a roadshow in support of BJP candidate Raju Bista in Siliguri, West Bengal on April 23, Tuesday.

Raju Bista is BJP's candidate from the Darjeeling constituency for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Moreover, Raju Bista has been serving as the incumbent MP from Darjeeling since 2019. Union Minister Nisith Pramanik is MP and BJP's candidate from Cooch Behar which has concluded with the general elections during the first phase of Lok Sabha elections. 

The first phase of Lok Sabha elections was conducted in 102 constituencies across 21 states. However, fresh polls were conducted in Manipur due to violence. Manipur, Tripura, and West Bengal recorded the highest voter turnout. Moreover, Darjeeling, Raiganj, and Balughat will face elections during the second phase on April 26.
