BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant development, Karnataka Congress candidates Ajay Maken, Dr. Syed Naseer Hussain, and GC Chandrashekhar won the Rajya Sabha elections on 27th February, Tuesday.

Furthermore, Ajay Maken won with 47 votes, Dr. Syed Naseer Hussain won with 46 votes, and GC Chandrashekhar won with 46 votes.

Additionally, BJP MLA ST Somashekhar cross-voted for Congress. The move left the BJP stunned. Rajya Sabha elections were held today in Karnataka, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
