Kaliaganj police station's IC changed

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Kaliaganj is in turmoil for allegedly raping and murdering a minor girl. Kaliaganj police station OC Dipanjan Das has been transferred. He was sent to Siliguri GRP police station. Inspector Subal Chandra Ghosh of Siliguri GRP has been given the responsibility of IC of Kaliaganj police station. Kaliaganj has been rocked since Last Friday over the rape and murder of a minor girl.

Tension prevailed over the road blockade by the villagers. On the same issue, there was a lot of vandalism and arson at Kaliaganj police station. The police were also seen beating up. After this, the IC of Kaliaganj Police Station was ordered to be transferred today.
