Sunil Chaudhuri new CP, LN Meena head of prisons

IPS officers get new transfer and posting as new designations. These are with effect from the date of assuming their charges, until further orders.

By A Staff Reporter: A no nonsense IPS officer Sunil Choudhuri is the new Commissioner of Asansol Durgapur police. In a notification issued on Tuesday evening, Chaudhuri, currently IGP, CID has been transferred as CP Asansol. The state government also transferred LN Meena as Additional Director General of Correctional Services replacing Sanjay Singh. The current Asansol CP has been posted as OSD in police directorate.
