BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a controversial statement, Madhya Pradesh Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya on Wednesday demanded the imposition of Article 356 (President's rule) in unrest-hit Sandeshkhali.

Moreover, Vijayvargiya alleged that there's a nexus running between goons and political leaders in West Bengal. Vijayvargiya further remarked that there's no democracy in WB. Subsequently, he demanded the imposition of President's Rule in Sandeshkhali. 

A village located in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, Sandeshkali is witnessing significant clashes and violence following allegations of systematic sexual exploitations and land-grabbing committed by TMC leaders, Shahjahan Sheikh, Shibu Hazara and Uttam Sardar. While others have been arrested, Shahjahan Sheikh remains absconding.
