IMD predicted heavy rainfall in many stated including WB

The Indian Meteorological Department  has predicted another major weather change. The met office has issued a high alert in one state after another in the country. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand till August 23. Isolated rains are also likely over Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal and other states.

 

Light to moderate rain accompanied by thundershowers is likely over Uttarakhand, east Uttar Pradesh and west Uttar Pradesh from August 18 and 21 to 23. Light to moderate to scattered rainfall is likely over the rest of northwest India this week, the IMD said.
