I'm Pilibhit's Son: Varun Gandhi Pens An Emotional Note For Pilibhit

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Days after the release of BJP's 5th List of Candidates, Pilibhit BJP MP Varun Gandhi penned an emotional note addressed to the people of Pilibhit towards the end of his tenure on March 28, Thursday.

In the letter, he recalled how he visited Pilibhit at the age of three and formed a deep connection with the constituency and its people. He further assured he would remain the son of Pilibhit even after the conclusion of his term as the MP from Pilibhit. Gandhi also assured that he would be available for the service of Pilibhit's people and his doors will always remain open for them. 

Varun Gandhi also stated that his relationship with Pilibhit is made of affection and trust which is beyond the realm of politics.

 BJP released the 5th list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on March 24, Sunday. A close aide of Rahul Gandhi, Jitin Prasada switched to the BJP. Subsequently, Varun Gandhi was replaced by Jitin Prasada from the Pilibhit Constituency. However, his mother Maneka Gandhi received a ticket for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from BJP and will contest from the Sultanpur constituency.
