I will consult didi before deciding on future: Mamata’s brother Babun

By A Staff Reporter: Chief minister Mamata Banerjee’s brother Babun, went haywire for a while but took a U turn and announced that he will not take any decision without his sister’s consent.

Speaking exclusively with ANM News, Babun Banerjee said he will speak to his sister Mamata Banerjee and then take a decision. 

“I have not yet decided to stand for elections. I had hoped for a party ticket this time and was hurt when the list was announced. I could not control my feelings and emotions and expressed my desires,” he said. The revolt within the family sent political fissures with the state. Mamata immediately disassociated from her brother Babun and announced that Prasun Banerjee, the party candidate from Howrah will win by handsome margin. Babun was eyeing to stand in the coming Lok Sabha election from Howrah.
