BY A STAFF REPORTER: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday thanked Mamata Banerjee and the West Bengal Government for not causing any hurdles for BJP's campaign rally in Cooch Behar, West Bengal on April 4, Thursday. 

While addressing a Mega Rally in north West Bengal's Coochbehar, PM Modi alleged that CM Mamata Banerjee's arrangements for PM BJP's 2019 election rally in Cooch Behar were not up to the mark as the stage position was in the middle of the ground and caused inconvenience to the attendants of the Rally. He further stated that the voters gave a befitting reply to CM Mamata by making the BJP win in the Cooch Behar Constituency. 

PM Modi expressed gratitude to the Mamata Banerjee-led state government for not creating such hurdles for the BJP rally held today in Cooch Behar and allowing people to attend the rally comfortably. 

Furthermore, PM Modi took a jibe at the AAP-led Delhi government, asserting that Delhi needs a strong party like the BJP and not a weak party to run their government.

Moreover, Mamata Banerjee also held a Lok Sabha election rally in Coochbehar earlier today. She is set to address two rallies in Coochbehar. PM Modi also addressed an election rally in Bihar's Jamui earlier today. 

Furthermore, BJP's Nisith Pramanik won the Coochbehar seat and John Barla secured the Alipurduar seat in the 2019 general elections. Both MPs are Union Ministers in PM Modi's cabinet. Nisith Pramanik is also BJP's candidate from Coochbehar for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
