I am Asansol's Bhoomi-Putra: SS Ahluwalia On BJP Candidature

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Shortly after the announcement of BJP's 10th list, Asansol candidate S.S. Ahluwalia on Wednesday stated that he is a 'Bhoomi-putra' of Asansol as he was born there.

SS Ahluwalia stated that he was born there and he is the Bhoomi-putra of Asansol. He also spoke on his rival Shatrughan Sinha's key dialogue "Khamosh" and stated that the public votes for those who can advocate for them. There is no place for 'Khamosh - Silence' there. Ahluwalia also emphasized This is a fight between two ideologies, the BJP believes in the mantra of 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas' while the opposition believes in appeasement. Moreover, He asserted that BJP believes in 'justice to all, and appeasement of none'.

S.S. Ahluwalia is the incumbent MP from Bardhaman-Durgapur Constituency. Previously he represented the Darjeeling Constituency in the 15th Lok Sabha. Moreover, he has been fielded against TMC candidate Shatrughan Sinha from Asansol for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
