State government shifts IPS officers

By A Staff Reporter: The state government reshuffled a series of IPS officers in one of the major transfers in recent times. Sudhakar has replaced Akhilesh Chaturvedi as the commissioner of police Siliguri. Police superintendents of several districts including politically volatile East Midnapur has been transferred. The list of transfers came out hours after chief minister Mamata Banerjee left for Dubai and Spain.
