He Will Be Released In The Afternoon: Sanjay Singh's Wife Anita Singh

Anita Singh disclosed that Sanjay Singh was admitted to ILBS Hospital for his routine checkup and will be discharged today. Subsequently, he will be released from jail in the afternoon after completion of formalities.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: A day after AAP MP Sanjay Singh's bail, his wife Anita Singh informed that he would be released from the Tihar Jail around 2:00 PM on April 3, Wednesday. 

She further disclosed that Sanjay Singh was admitted to ILBS Hospital for his routine checkup and will be discharged today. Subsequently, he will be released from jail in the afternoon after completion of formalities. Anita Singh revealed that Sanjay Singh will visit the Temple and thank god for the bail. 

Anita Singh further expressed gratitude to the judiciary. "I hope that my elder brothers Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain will also get bail soon" She added. 

The Supreme Court on Tuesday granted bail to AAP MP Sanjay Singh, one of the accused in the case as the ED failed to recover money pertinent to the scam. Moreover, he was arrested on October 4, 2023. However, the bail is not precedent. 

The authorities shifted Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to Tihar Jail and lodged him in jail number two following the orders of Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court on Monday. 

Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court granted Judicial custody of 15 days to Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi Liquorgate on April 1, Monday. 

Moreover, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday extended Arvind Kejriwal's ED remand till April 1 in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. The ED demanded a seven-day extension of Kejriwal's custody due to his alleged evasive replies and non-cooperation in the investigation. However, the court extended the remand for four days.

Furthermore, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court Remanded Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal to ED Custody till March 28 in the Delhi Liquorgate case on March 22, Friday. The decision came as ED demanded 10-day custody of Kejriwal and submitted 28 pages of evidence alleging his involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. 

The Enforcement Directorate arrested Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal from his residence in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. He was arrested following search operations and Interrogations conducted by the ED at his residence on Thursday evening.
