Haryana: PM Modi Unveils 114 Road Projects In Gurugram

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Haryana Section of Dwarka Expressway and laid the foundation stone of 114 road projects worth Rs. One lakh crore in Gurugram, Haryana on 11th March, Monday.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Haryana Section of Dwarka Expressway and laid the foundation stone of 114 road projects worth Rs. One lakh crore in Gurugram, Haryana on 11th March, Monday.

The 114 road projects include the Haryana Section of the Dwarka Expressway which is a 19 km long eight-lane expressway aimed at enhancing traffic flow between Delhi and Gurugram on NH-48. 

The section comprises two packages connecting the Delhi-Haryana Border to Basai Rail-over-Bridge and Basai ROB to Kherki Daula, improving connectivity with Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport 

Furthermore, the projects aim to foster growth and development in economic sectors and contribute to next-generation infrastructure.

PM Modi also interacted with construction workers at the Dwarka Expressway in Gurugram. He was accompanied by Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Moreover, BJP sitting MPs and BJP Lok Sabha Candidates from Delhi also attended the event. 

PM Modi was welcomed in Gurugram with slogans hailing 'Modi' and 'Jai Shree Ram'. Earlier today, he attended the Sashakt-Nari Viksit Program in New Delhi and presented 1,000 drones to 'Namo Drone Didis'. He further felicitated 'Lakhpati Didis' with a certificate of appreciation.
