BY A STAFF REPORTER: While presenting the state budget in the Haryana assembly, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday affirmed that the Haryana government supports farmers and has significantly contributed to their well-being.
Moreover, Khattar listed a multitude of financial and other contributions of the Haryana government to the farmers. Khattar claimed that Rs. 297.58 crore has been deposited into the accounts of farmers as compensation in the financial year 2023-24 through the e-compensation portal.
