BY A STAFF REPORTER: Chatursinh Javanji Chavda, a former member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, tendered his resignation at the residence of Gujarat Assembly Speaker, Shankar Chaudhary, in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

As per supposition, he may join the Bharatiya Janata Party after his resignation. His resignation is perhaps a precursor to the supposition. Chavda has served as an active politician in the Indian National Congress. Furthermore, he has served on the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee. He was elected as an MLA from Gujarat's Vijapur constituency in 2022.

Yesterday, Ashok Tanwar also resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party due to the party's inclination towards the Congress party. Ashok Tanwar joined the Aam Aadmi Party in 2022. He has served as the president of the Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee. Furthermore, he was the youngest to become the president of the Indian Youth Congress.
