Gujarat Cong MLA Arjun Modhwadia Resigns From Party. Will Join BJP

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a blow to the INDIA Alliance, Gujarat Congress MLA Arjun Modhwadia tendered his resignation from the party and the post on Monday. Arjun Modhwadia is set to join BJP.

Moreover, Modhwadia slammed the Congress party for their response to Ram Temple's Pran-Pratishtha invitation. He stated that a party cannot survive for long if it loses its connection with the people. Modhwadia also claimed that he raised his voice against Congress' invitation declination. Furthermore, Modhwadia failed to convey his message to the party and consequently resigned. As of now, Arjun Modhwadia is highly expected to join the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Numerous opposition leaders, including Sonia Gandhi, Sharad Pawar, and Lalu Prasad Yadav,  turned down the invitation to the Ram Temple consecration ceremony. Moreover, top Congress leaders vehemently opposed the ceremony, terming it as an 'RSS/BJP' event. The Pran Pratishtha of Ram Mandir ceremony took place on 22nd January in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
