BY A STAFF REPORTER: Shortly after receiving the ECI notice, Delhi Minister and AAP leader Atishi claimed that she received the notice after the information was flashed on a news channel on April 5, Friday.
Atishi alleged that she received the notice through mail half an hour after the news was broadcast at 11:15 AM. Subsequently, she accused the BJP of sending the Poll Commission notice to the media platforms and sending the notice to Atishi afterward. She further argued that the Election Commission of India has become a subsidiary organization of BJP.

The Election Commission of India on Friday served a notice to Atishi seeking her response over her threat and poaching allegations against the BJP on April 6. The BJP also sent a defamation notice to Atishi demanding an apology for the same on April 4.
