Gogamedi Murder: NIA Raids 31 places in Rajasthan, Haryana

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The National Investigation Agency carried out raids at 31 locations concerning the assassination of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi across the states of Rajasthan and Haryana on 2nd January Wednesday.

The raids are still in operation. Multiple NIA teams conducted these raids in tight collaboration with the state police forces. 

The searches are being conducted days after the NIA took over the case from Rajasthan Police contemplating the involvement of prominent gangsters in the murder case. 

The Karni Sena Chief, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was assassinated by three shooters on 5th December 2023 at his house in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Rohit Godara, a member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for the murder. The other two shooters, Rohit Rathore and Nitin Fauji were arrested in Chandigarh on 9th December.
