FIR against ED officer, who went to Sandeshkhali

BY A STAFF REPORTER: A reliable source information has been received that Shri Rajkumar Ram s/o Ganaur Ram, the then Assistant Director, Enforcement Office, Bangalore Zonal office, Bangaluru and presently posted as Assistant Director, Enforcement Directorate, Guwahati had joined Enforcement Directorate as AEO(Assistant Enforcement Officer) in Pay Band-2 (Rs.9300-34800) GP 4600
on 29.10.2012.

He was promoted to the post of Enforcement Officer on 01.04.2016 and was further promoted on 01.04.2018 as Assistant Director. He is a resident of Harpur Kalan, Major Ganj, Sitamarhi, Bihar. Information revealed that his wife and three children are staying at Flat no. 655, Block 45, CPWD Complex, sector-1, HSR, Layout, Bengaluru-560102. 

Information further revealed that Shri Rajkumar Ram, while being posted and functioning as Assistant Director, Enforcement Office, Govt. of India, Bangaluru, during the period from 01.04.2016 to 31.03.2020 acquired assets, both movable and immovable, in his name and in the name of his family members, which are disproportionate to his ‘known sources of income'.

Information revealed that wife of Shri Rajkumar Ram namely Smt. Chandrama Kumari, who is a housewife, has actively connived with her husband and abetted him in acquisition and possession of Disproportionate Assets. There are movable and immovable properties jointly owned by her alongwith her husband as well as expenditure incurred on her part is not commensurate with their income. They have one residential flat at 8A09, Embassy Springs, Nagamangala Village, Kundana Hobli, Devanahalli Taluk, Bangaluru and one Commercial property at Unit no. G-1005, Block-1, Ground Floor, Hoodi Circle, Whitefield Bengaluru in their name.

Information further revealed that as on 01.04.2016, said Shri Rajkumar Ram was having assets worth Rs. 1,18,000/- and as on 31.03.2020, he was having assets to the tune of Rs. 57,00,000/- in his name as well as in the name of his wife. Between, 01.04.2016 to 31.03.2020, said Shri Rajkumar Ram has a total income of Rs. 1,34,80,000/- to known sources, whereas, during this period he incurred an expenditure of Rs. 1,16,19,000/-.
