Tamilisai Soundararajan tendered her resignation from the post of Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry on March 18 as she wanted to return to active politics and contest for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
BY A STAFF REPORTER: Days after resigning, former Telangana Governor and ex-Puducherry Lt. Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan rejoined the BJP in Chennai, Tamil Nadu on March 20, Wednesday.
Tamilisai Soundararajan expressed happiness in rejoining the BJP. She stated that it was a happy, and simultaneously, a tough decision for her. Soundararajan revealed that she left the facilities she received as a governor to rejoin politics and doesn't regret it. Soundararajan asserted that the Lotus will bloom in Tamil Nadu.
