Ex-Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay Joins BJP In Kolkata

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Days after resigning, former Calcutta High Court Judge Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in Kolkata, West Bengal on 7th March, Thursday.

Moreover, he was welcomed in the party by West Bengal LoP Suvendu Adhikari and BJP state President Sukanta Majumdar in the party office. Moreover, Abhijit Gangopadhyay decided to join politics shortly after announcing his resignation.

Furthermore, Gangopadhyay condemned the Sandeshkhali matter and lauded the BJP for their efforts to highlight the incident. 

Abhijit Gangopadhyay tendered his resignation from the post of High Court Justice on 5th March, Tuesday. Reportedly, he was challenged by the TMC members.
