Ex-Dy CM Manish Sisodia Seeks Interim Bail for Election Campaign

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Delhi's former Deputy Chief Minister and AAP leader Manish Sisodia on Friday approached the Rouse Avenue Court seeking an interim bail for election campaigning.

Manish Sisodia has sought interim bail in the cases of the Enforcement Directorate and Central Bureau of Investigation. Manish Sisodia is currently lodged in Delhi's Tihar Jail along with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and AAP leader Satyendra Jain. 

Manish Sisodia was initially arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on February 26, 2023. The Enforcement Directorate took over his arrest on March 9, 2023, in the Delhi liquor-gate policy case.
