Educating two wheelers to prevent accidents

By A Staff Reporter: Kolkata traffic police hit the streets to educate motorcyclists. A survey revealed that most of accidents took place with two wheelers snaking their way around private buses. Police personnel urged the motorists to sit in the drivers’ seat of the private bus to check whether they can spot their mobikes kept in the blind spot. None of the bikers who sat on the drivers seat could see their bikes. Senior police officer Nilesh Chowdhury mentioned that such exercise will be carried out periodically to ensure that the message reaches to most of the motorists.
