BY A STAFF REPORTER: A team of Enforcement Directorate was attacked in North 24 Parganas' Sandeshkali district while conducting a raid on Friday.
Reportedly, the team was reaching the house of TMC Leader Shah Jahan Sheikh to launch a raid concerning an alleged ration distribution scam.
As per the reports, a mob of around 100-200 villagers surrounded and launched an attack against the ED team which was accompanied by the central paramilitary forces.
Moreover, a video surfaced on social media showing the vandalized vehicles of the officials with broken windshields. However, no injuries have been reported so far.
