Kailash GahlotED Summons Delhi Min Kailash Gahlot In Delhi Excise Policy Case

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal remains in ED custody, the Enforcement Directorate issued a summon to Delhi Minister and AAP leader Kailash Gahlot for Interrogation in the Delhi excise policy case on March 30, Saturday.

Kailash Gahlot is expected to join the investigation today itself. Kailash Gahlot is serving as the Minister of Transport and Environment. 

Moreover, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday extended Arvind Kejriwal's ED remand till April 1 in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. The ED demanded a seven-day extension of Kejriwal's custody due to his alleged evasive replies and non-cooperation in the investigation. However, the court extended the remand for four days.

Furthermore, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court Remanded Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal to ED Custody till March 28 in the Delhi Liquorgate case on March 22, Friday. The decision came as ED demanded 10-day custody of Kejriwal and submitted 28 pages of evidence alleging his involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. 

The Enforcement Directorate arrested Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal from his residence in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. He was arrested following search operations and Interrogations conducted by the ED at his residence on Thursday evening.
