ED raids 7 Locations in connection with Ravindra Waikar

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The enforcement directorate is conducting search operations at seven locations in connection with the Member of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, Ravindra Waikar, and his partners on 9th January Tuesday.

The raids are being conducted concerning the Hotel construction case at Jogeshwari. Maharashtra. The case alleges that the hotel was built by manipulating the land use conditions. Reportedly, Waikar defrauded the Bombay Municipal Corporation for nearly 500 crores by illegally acquiring the plot for hotel construction.

Ravindra Waikar is a member of the legislative assembly from the Shiv Sena party representing Jogeshwari East Assembly seat. Waikar was thrice elected for consecutive terms in 2009, 2014, and 2019
