ECI Transfers Andhra Pradesh DGP With Immediate Effect

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Amid the Lok Sabha Elections, the Election Commission of India transferred Andhra Pradesh's Director General of Police P Sitaramanjaneyulu with immediate effect on April 23, Tuesday.

The Poll Commission has sought a panel of three IPS officers of ADGP rank from the Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary for the replacement by 3:00 PM on Wednesday.

The ECI also transferred Kanthi Rana Tata, Vijayawada's Commissioner along with P Sai Chaitanya, DCP of Hyderabad's South Zone.
