BY A STAFF REPORTER: An environmental education program was organized today under Mission Life by the West Bengal Pollution Control Board in Jhargram. The event saw the participation of students and teachers from numerous schools and colleges. Dr. Kalyan Rudra, Chairman of the West Bengal Pollution Control Board, graced the occasion with his presence.
Dr. Anirban Roy remarked, “Ten schools and colleges participated in today's event. More than 40 students and teachers from these institutions were present. Additionally, a representative from each school spoke on a specific environmental issue, and their presentations were excellent.”
The program aimed to foster awareness and engagement among students regarding environmental conservation. Through debates and discussions, participants explored various environmental issues, emphasizing the importance of collective action to address these challenges.
