BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, Chennai CM MK Stalin's DMK party released its manifesto and the first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on March 20, Wednesday.

Moreover, the DMK released its manifesto and list of candidates in the presence of CM MK Stalin and DMK MP Kanimozhi, during a ceremony in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The candidates who will contest from Tamil Nadu in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections are Kalanidhi Veeraswamy from North Chennai, Thamizhachi Thangapandian from South Chennai, Dayanidhi Maran from Central Chennai, TR Baalu from Sriperumbudur, Annadurai from Thiruvanamalai, A Raja from Nilgiris and Kanimozhi will contest from Thoothukudi. 

Furthermore, DMK MP T Siva mentioned that DMK is a regional party and part of the INDIA Alliance. Therefore, DMK's manifesto expresses the interest of the state and the nation. "When we are advocating for a federal structure, then our manifesto should reflect that and it will address most of the issues of the country" He added.
