DM Took The Meeting On Health Infrastructure And Vector Control Activities

BY A STAFF REPORTER: DM took the meeting on Health infrastructure and vector control activities 
Following were discussion points.
1)2024-43 dengue cases detected-no deaths reported 
2)for the month of June-05 cases reported which is less that last year for the same month
3)positivity rate -0.3 for the May month which was 0.8 in last year May month
4)Number of dengue tests done so far-5140 which is higher that last year for the same period.

Testing facilities available free of cost-MMCH/Khargpur sub division hospital/Ghatal subdivision hospital/Debra super speciality hospital/Belda ssh/Salboni rural hospital/midnapure municipality/Ghatal municipality/Khargpur municipality. Enough testing kits are available.

Concern areas-Midnapur municipality/Khargpur municipality /salboni/belda/daspur 1/dantan 2. DM has instructed to put more focus on these areas. Larvicide is available at all levels-people are advised to get tested in case of fever and use bed nets effectively. 

DM Sir has also reviewed health infrastructure-Has instructed to make all health units fully functional-Also works to be completed in next two months where work is going on.
