Delhi HC Refuses To Grant Interim Protection To CM Arvind Kejriwal

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, the Delhi High Court refused to grant interim security from coercive action to Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal on March 21, Thursday.

Moreover, the HC stated that they are not inclined to grant interim relief at this stage. However, the Court directed the Enforcement Directorate to submit a response regarding the fresh interim plea and listed the matter for April 22, 2024.

Earlier today, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal moved a fresh plea in the Delhi HC, seeking no coercive action against him. The move comes as the ED has issued nine summons to Kejriwal in connection with the excise policy matter.
