BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, the Delhi High Court started hearing Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s plea against his arrest and remand in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case on March 27, Wednesday.
However, Additional Solicitor General SV Raju sought time to file a detailed reply to Arvind Kejriwal's plea. Moreover, the ASG mentioned receiving a copy of the petition yesterday.
Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal submitted a plea in Delhi HC challenging his arrest and Trial Court's order on Saturday. However, the Delhi HC denied the urgent listing sought by his counsel.
Furthermore, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court Remanded Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal to ED Custody till March 28 in the Delhi Liquorgate case on March 22, Friday. The decision came as ED demanded 10-day custody of Kejriwal and submitted 28 pages of evidence alleging his involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam.
The Enforcement Directorate arrested Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal from his residence in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. He was arrested following search operations and Interrogations conducted by the ED at his residence on Thursday evening.
