Delhi Court Sends BRS MLC K Kavitha To Judicial Custody

Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court sent BRS MLC K Kavitha to judicial custody till April 9 in the Delhi Liquor Policy Case on March 26, Tuesday. However, Rouse Avenue Court scheduled a hearing on the interim bail plea moved by BRS leader K Kavitha on April 1.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant development, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court sent BRS MLC K Kavitha to judicial custody till April 9 in the Delhi Liquor Policy Case on March 26, Tuesday. 

However, Rouse Avenue Court scheduled a hearing on the interim bail plea moved by BRS leader K Kavitha on April 1.

While reaching the courtroom, K Kavitha alleged that this is not a money laundering case but a political laundering case as it is fabricated and false. "We will come out clean" she asserted.

Enforcement Directorate stated that during her remand period, they recorded her statement, interrogated her and confronted her with several individuals and digital records.

Moreover, the Enforcement Directorate arrested K Kavitha on March 15 in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case.

Furthermore, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court Remanded Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal to ED Custody till March 28 in the Delhi Liquorgate case on March 22, Friday.   The decision came as ED demanded 10-day custody of Kejriwal and submitted 28 pages of evidence alleging his involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. 

The Enforcement Directorate arrested Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal from his residence in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. He was arrested following search operations and Interrogations conducted by the ED at his residence on Thursday evening.
