Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Moves Motion of Confidence in Delhi Assembly
While presenting the motion, Kejriwal alleged that political rivals intend to arrest AAP leaders under the pretext of the liquor case and topple the government as they cannot win in Delhi.
BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant development, Delhi's Chief Minister moved a motion of confidence in the Delhi Assembly on 16th February, Friday.
While presenting the motion, Kejriwal alleged that political rivals intend to arrest AAP leaders under the pretext of the liquor case and topple the government as they cannot win in Delhi. Moreover, he mentioned that parties are breaking apart and governments are being toppled by slapping false cases on the leaders. "To show the people that none of our MLAs broke away and all of them are intact, I present a Confidence Motion" he added.
However, the proceedings of the house will be held on 17th February, Saturday as the house is adjourned today.
