Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Announces Ex-Gratia For Alipur Fire Victims
Arvind Kejriwal announced that Rs. 10 lakhs will be awarded to the family of the deceased, Rs. 2 lakhs will be given to victims who suffered major injuries, and Rs. 20,000 will be given to those with minor injuries.
BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, Delhi's Chief Minister and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal announced ex-gratia for next to the kin of the deceased and injured in the Alipur fire tragedy on 16th February.
Kejriwal announced that Rs. 10 lakhs will be awarded to the family of the deceased, Rs. 2 lakhs will be given to victims who suffered major injuries, and Rs. 20,000 will be given to those with minor injuries. Moreover, he asserted that an inquiry will be held for the delayed action of fire tenders and actions will be taken against the owners of the factory.

In a major tragedy, 11 people lost their lives, and four suffered injuries as a massive fire broke out in Delhi's Alipur paint factory on Thursday evening.
